How Ricosta can help your child’s feet.

What makes this brand one of our favourites for children’s footwear.

A Ricosta shoe with its insole.

Removable insoles.

Most of the range includes the ability to remove the insole, so that your child can use custom orthotic insoles.

Suitable for wide feet.

The width of your child’s foot plays an important role in the fitting aspect, and this is why the brand offers a wide width in addition to their standard width.

A pair of Ricosta boots.

Strong heel support and midfoot stability.

Often, you will find that the shoes, boots, and trainers are manufactured with padded ankles, to ensure a secure and comfortable fit.

Shoe-fitting and in-house clinics.

Children’s feet are constantly changing as they grow, so it’s important that you get a reliable measurement and expert advice. This is what our fitting service is about.

You have a dedicated, trained fitter who will listen to your needs and wants. They will discuss with you any foot, lower limb, and back issues that need to be considered. Further consideration is given to any medical information from a medical professional, prescription, orthotics, or splints.

We assess your child’s walking style, their gait, and take 3 different measurements while considering their foot shape and proportions.

Our in-house clinic can also help children with more specific needs. Jill Ferrari runs regular clinics specialising in biomechanics and children’s foot and lower limb issues.
