Mr Ron McCulloch – Podiatric Surgeon and Centre Director.

Ron McCulloch is the principal Podiatric Surgeon and Director of the London Podiatry Centre. During his many years as a specialist Podiatric Surgeon, he has performed thousands of successful foot operations.

Ron McCulloch is Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at London’s Homerton University Hospital, the official hospital of the 2012 London Olympics. He worked as a Consultant Podiatrist at the Olympic village during the 2012 Olympics and has extensive experience in sports medicine. He continues to provide podiatric care for several premiership football teams and has consulted for Nike, at their headquarters in Oregon.

He continues to lecture extensively both on the national and international circuit and helped to develop podiatry in the Middle East, particularly in relation to the surgical management of the diabetic foot. He is a senior lecturer in ultrasound studies at Bournemouth University Centre for ultrasound studies.

The essential relationship between conditions of the foot and abnormalities in gait (walking and running) has led Ron McCulloch to build a state of the art gait laboratory at The London Podiatry Centre. This is one of the most advanced dedicated podiatric gait facilities in the world today and allows for the accurate diagnosis of many types of injury.

Ron McCulloch is a published author on surgical techniques and is one of only two practitioners in Great Britain to offer invasive cryosurgery of the foot.

Ms Nutan Shah – Senior Podiatrist.

Nutan Shah has over 20 years of experience as a Podiatrist. A specialist in podiatric sports injuries, biomechanics and diabetic foot care, she is the podiatrist to the England Senior Football team, Arsenal FC and Crystal Palace FC.

Ms Shah has worked for the UK’s leading medical institutions including London’s Guy’s and St. Thomas’ hospitals and for several years at Northwick Park Hospital. Ms Shah also ran specialist surgeries in Brent North Primary Care group and Harrow PCT.

Ms Shah has lectured extensively both at undergraduate and post graduate level having taught on the Podiatry modules for the Sports Science degree at the University of London. She was invited to Nike headquarters in Oregon (with Mr McCulloch) where she participated in brain storming sessions on biomechanics, football injuries and football boot design.
